Sisters and Brothers:
Well, a new Triennium has begun. All General Grand Chapter Officers were installed and they are ready to work. Our Committee Members are in position and ready to give their messages to all. Please ask them to tell you about their work as it is for the good of the Order of the Eastern Star. They serve at their own expense and should be invited to speak when they visit your chapters.
Chapter restoration and membership is very important. This should be everyone’s concern. Please don’t leave it to anyone else.
Sister Rennie Ofton, our Most Worthy Grand Matron, is sponsoring the Service Dog Program. This Program is a very worthwhile endeavor and warrants your support.
The one General Grand Chapter pin that is for sale is to help the Grand Chapters to raise funds. It is applied to the charity fund the seller specifies to the Grand Secretary. Additional information can be found on the MWGM Projects web page at http://www.easternstar.org/files/triennium_pin.pdf.
The Most Worthy Grand Patron’s Special Project is in reality, a public relations project. We plan to install an Eastern Star exhibit in the George Washington Masonic Memorial along with the other displays of all the Masonic bodies. This Project is a way to let the Masonic Family know who we are, what we are all about and show that we are a part of the great Masonic Family of Freemasonry.
This project is similar to last Triennium’s $100.00 Club. Forms are available from the MWGP on his visits and the Committee Members should be able to assist the members. Forms are available in the Eastern Star Journal and on the MWGP Project web page or on the LINK below. I believe Public Relations are a great part of every member’s responsibility and I solicit your support for this very important project.
